What are some fun pool games for adults?

I am having a pool party type deal the Saturday of the Fourth of July. I was thinking that we could play volleyball, I have a ball, and I have just been looking for a net. What else could we play? The age range is 21-28. No Marco polo.. lol thanks!!

Here are some ideas for your party...

1.. Instead of a penny dive, have a beer dive. When I was a kid they would throw pennies and coins into the pool and then you would dive underwater and collect the money form the bottom of the pool. For the adult version, throw cans of beer, hard lemonade, or any beverage of your choice, then have everyone dive in to get their loot.

2. A belly flop contest. Tell people beforehand and then they can come with music or costumes and do a whole routine. Have funny prizes for best belly flop, biggest splash, best costume, etc.

3. If you have a rope you could have a tug of war and the winners will pull the losers into the pool.

4. Innertube races. You can get innertubes cheap at any tire store. Then have relay races where they have to kick or paddle from one end of the pool to the other. You can also do innertube water polo. The fun of that is you can tip people over in their tube as you play.

5. Of course, there is always skinny dipping at midnight.
