What Can Happen If I Don't Rake My Leaves?
Are there any ramifications (legal or otherwise) for not removing my leaves at all. No raking, no blowing, no mulching. Just letting them lie there as nature intended.
Can you get fined like you can for not mowing the lawn, or shoveling your walk?
Of course I do plan on cleaning them up in the spring, but I figure what can it hurt to leave them there for the winter? Why are we so obsessed with raking them up every fall?
Use the mulcher setting on your mower and mow over the leaves. This will mulch them, which adds back into your soil. This is what most gardeners do nowadays.
