How do I clean and disinfect a rubber ducky?
You know how the kids leave the duckies in the bathtub and the water seeps in from the little hole in the bottom, after some time that water builds mold. You can't really get in there to scrub thtat stuff out.
My daughter has a set of three and they are just too cute to toss. How do I clean them and completely remove the mold?
Add a cup of white vinegar to a few inches of soapy water in the kitchen sink and soak if they ever get to smelling or you think they should be cleaned. Vinegar is effective in getting rid of mold and is a safe cleaning product to use around children and on their toys. Maybe sometime after the bath, if you are worried about water sitting in the ducks, you can put them in a pillowcase and toss them in the drier for a little bit? Good luck!
